We are now recruiting for the position described below.
Business Analyst
We are currently seeking candidates
for an analyst role within the Business Analysis team of our London
office.
The candidate will possess a thorough
working knowledge of Bank of England/FSA regulatory reporting, preferably
including Capital Adequacy calculations and methodologies. Ideally
the candidate will also have had exposure to FSA Investment Business
reporting (former SFA) but knowledge of other regulators' reporting
would be viewed favourably. Demonstration of the ability to recognise
data requirements, processing of data and reconciliation of results
through use of spreadsheet or database applications will reinforce
the applicant's suitability for this role.
Initially the successful applicant
will spend a period within the Business Consultancy department to
gain experience of the STB Toolset via hands-on client project work.
After this the applicant will join the Business Analysis team where
they will share the responsibility for ensuring the current regulations
of various regulators are maintained correctly within STB products.
The role also requires analysis of other regulatory environments
to allow assessment for potential new products and the provision
of specifications for enhanced software functionality to the Software
Development department.
The Business Analysis team plays
a central role within the company so the successful applicant will
enjoy a variety of challenges from identifying potential new products
to producing them using the STB Toolset and providing the company
with relevant training to ensure successful installation.
Most work is performed either at
STB's offices or at clients' premises in the City. Some client work
elsewhere in the UK or Ireland is likely once a good knowledge of
STB's products has been gained.
After undergoing a probationary period
the candidate will be eligible for the full company benefits package
which includes personal pension contribution, healthcare cover,
season ticket loan and life insurance.
Salary: Will depend on experience.
First interviews will be with two
senior managers/directors
